Prerequesite Skills

Students must have the following skills to best utilize this course:

Students should be familar with the Unix operating system.
Students should be familiar with an editor on the Unix Operating System, such as emacs or pico. This course uses pico.
Students should have experience using the World Wide Web.
Students should be familiar with at least one WWW browser such as Lynx, Netscape, or Mosaic. This course uses the Lynx browser.
