***General Information and Directory***

This folder contains all the data taken during the ABOVE^2 science flights,
which launched in August 2016. It should be updated with explanations of what
sub-folders contain and what they are for. 

Folder List:

* raw_sd_card_images: contains the byte-for-byte copies of the SD cards from 
                      the VLF main board, which recorded VLF and X-ray data
                      during each flight. Roughly the first half of each SD 
                      card has the VLF data, and the second half has the X-ray
                      data. There is no filesystem. They are left here so that
                      an exact copy of the original data can be had if needed. 


* xray_instrument_data: contains the raw bytes sent from the UW X-ray 
                        spectrometer. Our VLF headers are removed from these
                        data, leaving only the short UW headers and their data.
                        All analysis of the UW data will parse this file.
