"WEBSITE OF THE WEEK" as seen in Information Week

Based on the successful software paradigm, Beta Books allows computing professionals to view complete text versions of selected emerging technology titles online. Beta Books viewing is free, invites comments and feedback, and allows consumers to "test drive" books in progress on subjects they most want to know about today.

Beta Books, like beta software, are not final. Graphics may be missing, some chapters may not be available immediately, or there may be spelling errors. There will be some changes made to these books before they are printed. Your comments are welcomed.

Here is a list of some of the titles and their online release date -- which is approximately 60 days prior to their scheduled publication.

Beta Books works best with a frame-enabled browser.
