Physics & Engineering Physics Machine Shop:

The machine-shop has a long history since 1923 in doing high precission
manufacturing. It is fully equiped, totally capable and produces high
quality and high precission to very tight tolerances for space research,
including NASA, ODIN, OGLOW.
Due to its long history and because of its employees - Canadian
Interprovincial Journeyment Machinists and fullty accredited Canadian
Instrument Makers - the machine shop is highly adapted at working through
design and engineering problems as well as research and development
of a final product. 
This 'In House' capacity allows manufactoring of high tech quality on a low
cost level.



ISAS optics lab:

The optics lab as part of the ISAS facilities allows to test the
sensitivity, S/N ratio and the temperature dependence using a moovable low
brightness source. This allows to verify theoretical expectations and to
achive confirmation about these parameters.
