Obtain a Computer Account

The first thing you need is a computer to put your HTML documents on. This can be a microcomputer, but usually this is done from an account on a Unix computer. At the U of S, this would be "Duke".

You can obtain an account on Duke by calling our Computing Services Help Desk at 966-4817.

This course assumes you have an account on the Duke computer, and you are familiar with the Unix operating system.
