System Requirements

IDL System Requirements

For Unix and VMS systems, the minimum recommended system configuration is 80 Mb of disk space and 24 Mb of RAM. For Macintosh and Windows systems, 80 Mb of disk space and 24 Mb of RAM are recommended. In addition, Windows systems should have at least 256 color capability and a high resolution graphics card.

ENVI System Requirements

For Unix and VMS systems, the minimum recommended system configuration is 100 Mb of disk space and 24 Mb of RAM. For Macintosh and Windows systems, 100 Mb of disk space and 24 Mb of RAM are recommended. In addition, Windows systems should have at least 256 color capability and a high resolution graphics card.
